We are a French Bulldog breeding program based in St. Lucie County, Florida. At its core, Shawty Got Pups exists for one simple reason: a genuine love for animals and a deep appreciation for dogs.

French Bulldogs are incredibly loving, super social, and full of personality. They tend to bond closely with their owners, often showing up in people’s lives less like a pet and more like family. They are expressive, affectionate, and naturally enjoy being involved in everyday life, which is part of what makes them such special companions.

Our focus is on raising French Bulldogs that are healthy, well-tempered, and prepared for real life. From the very beginning, we place a strong emphasis on temperament, structure, confidence, and early development — not just bringing a dog into the world, but helping shape the kind of companion that dog will grow into.

All of our dogs are raised through what we call the SGP Program, a structured developmental approach designed to support each puppy during the most influential stages of growth. This includes early foundations such as potty habits, leash exposure, basic cues, environmental adaptability, social confidence, grooming exposure, and positive interaction with people and everyday surroundings.

We intentionally work during the period when a puppy’s brain is most receptive to learning, placing strong emphasis on early development, neuroplasticity, and behavioral conditioning to help establish a stable framework for adulthood.

As breeders, we believe our responsibility extends far beyond birth. Our role is to help establish the emotional, behavioral, and environmental groundwork that allows each dog to successfully transition into family life once they leave our care. The SGP Program exists to ensure the dogs we place are not only deeply loved, but genuinely prepared.
